Whether it's utility coordination, bid management, on-site observation, requests for information, certificates of occupancy, shop drawings, progress and invoice reviews, final walk-throughs, or punch lists — we follow our designs to final execution.
In developing engineers’ opinions of probable costs, WRS doesn’t simply rely on past bid tabs. Because we have a concurrent history in construction of street, trail, and stormwater projects along with our engineering experience, we build our cost opinions from the ground up, pricing like a contractor. We then acid-test those cost opinions against historical data to ensure their dependability.
WRS routinely provides bidding services, including bid phase questions, pre-bid meeting, and bid openings. WRS can provide construction services, including a utility meeting, pre-construction meeting, submittal reviews, construction site visits (on-call), and construction observation services. We attend utility meetings with clients, utility companies, and the awarded construction contractor to further the communication. We review submittals and answer construction related questions from the contractor during construction of the project.
WRS has experience and expertise in follow-up operations and maintenance planning for erosion control and other hydraulic structures, ranging from small flood-control dams to federally regulated river levees. WRS can provide assistance in long-term planning and scheduling of operations and maintenance to ensure trouble-free, sustainable design life of our solutions.
